Glucosamine for Joint Health

My wife has been having knee pain for a few months now and recently saw her doctor who recommended glucosamine supplements. There are both pills and a sports drink as options. Anybody have any experience with this? Have a preference for pills or drinks? How long on product before condition improved?

Your drug dealing physician of course wants to push pills down your throat. If you have a fasting focused lifestyle and a ketogenic WOE your inflammation will be so low all your joint pain will disappear.

Depends on the type of arthritis. Osteoarthritis isn't an inflammatory condition. You can't keto your way out of bone-on-bone. Also, glucosamine hasn't had much good evidence to support it. Assuming OA, you're better off with weight loss, physical therapy, Tylenol and NSAIDs.

I tried it and it did absolutely nothing.
Bone broth protein and collagen peptide protein together seems to work pretty well. It could just be the placebo affect and rest, but try it out and let me know what you think.

What is causing the pain? Did the dr give a diagnosis?

Tried it. It upset my stomach and was no help on my knees. Save your money.
