Would it be a good idea to have one of these going? I've always found group chats and what not helpful for about 3 weeks until they die off and no one gives a shite.

Would having a thread on here with the similar theme also fail?

I've dialed in my lifts recently and looking to really commit to a cut around Mardi Gras time.

ETA: Upvote for yes, downvote if you think I'm soft and just need to learn some discipline on my own.

So you did what I did and did a prethread. Just do it. If it dies, it dies.

I'm for it. I did my Westside log to keep me accountable.

I would participate in something like this. I work for myself and live in a small town, so I workout by myself in the mornings in my garage so I have zero accountability. On those cold mornings where all I want is to stay in bed, it's nice to know someone would call you on not getting up to work out.

Almost time for shredding season.

Got my macros set up. Time to nut up and get after it.

Weighing in around 225 currently and looking to get down to 205. At 6'5 it should have me looking pretty shredded I think.

Still trying to format a accountability thread for diet + lifts. If anyone has any ideas go ahead.

Decided to start my cut yesterday instead of Jan/Feb.

Current weight: 232
Goal weight: 205
Current BF%: ~22% if I had to guess
Goal BF%: 13-14%
Goal Date: April 17th (25lbs/1.4lbs per week = 17.5 weeks) *Someone let me know if this is realistic*

I'm using avatar nutrition to calculate my macros each week and tracking them on MyFitnessPal. I'm on the moderate fat loss setting, which is a little more than a pound per week.

This week's macros:

2110 calories
197g protein
70g fat
173 carb

Workout split has been: chest/back, legs, shoulders/arms while trying to get 5 lifts in per week. Typically taking off from lifting on Wednesday and Sunday. And have been mixing in a little bit of cardio 2-3 times per week. Tennis matches or stair stepper for 15-20 minutes.

Should be a fun ride as I've yo-yo'd dieted for 2 years now trying keto, then trying RFL, dealing with binge eating...getting results then gaining the weight back. Think I'm in a good place to sustain this diet and am looking forward to the journey. Looking for some of you to call me out on shite until I hit that goal. Also if these macros are screwy (protein too low, too high, etc) let me know.

ETA: I'll bring all this info over to the actual accountability thread whenever it gets started.

Use the advanced setting and set protein higher. Only other thing is calories look low just at a glance.

Suggested protein amount?

Yeah I think the calories are a little low too, but that's what they gave me.

12/18 232.40
12/19 230.80
12/20 229.80
12/21 228.60
12/22 227.20

5 days into my cut. Down 5 lbs. 2 more days until I get my new macros from Avatar. Having drinks tonight and worked them into my macros. I'm not sure I ever thought I'd get that strict that I would make sure my whiskey fit my macros.

Nah, I'm just using it until the official one gets started.

Doubt anyone is trying to get too strict around the holidays.

I'm in maintenance mode through the holidays. My goal is to not gain weight. Been successful so far.

Been going to the gym. Wednesday wod was squat 9,5,7 of squat snatches and burpees to jumping pull ups (that was my scaling, anyway). Yesterday I went to Oly class and worked up to a heavy single on snatches and clean and jerks. Today is going to be a bitch..

27-22-25-9 of push press and bar facing burpees.

Knees are hurting, I guess from snatches and c&js but I slept like complete shite night before last so probably a combination of things.
