The day after Thanksgiving I did 300 pushups before 2pm and the next day my chest and elbow were killing me. The chest pain went away about three days later and the elbow pain subsided as well, but hasn't full gone away. Should I just push through the pain or should I let it go away fully?

Is there an amount that you can do before the pain starts? Maintain what you can, and shoot for gains when the pain passes. Too many forget to design in rest weeks (80% of normal output).

Pushing through the pain will most likely make tendinitis worse. Rest it.

Maybe instead of doing 300 push-ups, do 30

Let it rest.

Buy one for each arm and wear them every workout. They work wonders.

My elbow pain makes it where I can barely lift stuff that is usually easy for me. The only way for it to go away is to back it way down for a couple of weeks. I wear elbow sleeves, but they don’t do anything for me.

I question the efficiency of your exercise program if you’re doing 300 push-ups in a day.
