I’m posting this on the health board because I’m hoping someone has some insight as to how our brain creates visions we dream about when we’ve never been exposed to such things in real life. Is it all just imagination?

I’ve seen strange things in my dreams. Horrific disasters in such fine detail that have never happened, vehicles and sky ships that have never existed, rooms and phenomenon that happen in such rooms that basically leave me gasping for air upon awakening, and conversations with people in which I know nothing about the subject or have education regarding the words being used.

Anyone experience similar things?

It always blows my mind how you can interpret dreams. Like if you dream about a certain thing it means this or that. How did my brain know it was supposed to mean that when it dreamed it up? Dreams are crazy things.

It's been a while, but my "house" in my dream was completely made up in my head, yet it was repeated in dreams over and over. BUT, I'm beginning to think that it's NOT the same, but my brain is tricking me into thinking it's the same.

I have not written down or drawn my house upon waking to test this theory, so basically this whole post is worthless.
