I’ve seen this guy on YouTube a lot lately. He uses a hammer and chisel, for lack of a better word, to help people with severe mobility issues and pain. He does treatments for pro athletes pretty regularly. Is this guy’s philosophy legit or is he just putting his own brand on an already solidified treatment?

The difference between him and most Chiros is his muscular work. Is that enough to do the things we see on YT? Idk, but I suspect not.

Being in the therapy world, I think manual is a quack mobility. Sure, I suppose it has its uses but it’s ultimately a glorified massage. It has more usage in acute injury than most anything else. That’s some placebo BS in the video.
PT already has issues with true clinical research because it’s literally impossible to do double blind treatments with a true placebo group. This is just temporary shite. There’s a reason people see chiros and magic medicine quacks like this. There’s nothing truly fixed with what they’re doing.
