Ok I’ve done some reading. I like the 3 day split above.
Day 1: Squat/Bench 5@65%, 5@75%, 5@85%, 5x5@65%
Accessories: Dips, triceps extensions, leg extensions, ab work 4x10
Day 2: Press/Deadlift 5@65%, 5@75%, 5@ 85%, 5x5@65%
Accessories: incline DB bench press, Pull ups/chin ups, bicep curls, leg curls 4x10
Day 3: Squat/Bench 5@65%, 5@75%, 5@85%, 5x5 @65%
Accessories: push-ups, face pulls, lunges, ab work 4x10
Progress as the plan outlines week to week with a de-load every 4th week. Plan to swap Pull ups/chin ups for DB rows every other Press/Deadlift day. Will do some ab work on run days.
Maybe I’m mixing and matching different elements of his programming. I tried to read a good bit from multiple books. There’s a TON of combinations.
Open to critique.
