Several coworkers and myself are doing a 12 week recomp challenge. We all did inbody scans and are seeing who can lose the greatest % of body fat % (if that makes sense). I came in at 245lbs @ 20.9%BF. What’s a realistic BF% I can get down to in the 12 weeks?

depends on how strict you are willing to go, how much you plan to lift and how much you plan to walk and how much you plant to sleep.

best case......11-12% if natural. realistic??....prolly 15%

Lifting 5-6 days a week and 7-10 hrs of zone 2 cardio a week. Currently doing a keto cycle diet plan. 3 days low carb, 1 day high, 2 days low, 1 day high, rinse repeat. Protein staying at 240-260.

I dropped 2.5% BF in two and a half months. I didn't do a lick of cardio, and I'm a smaller guy than you, and started with less BF % than you, so I would think 15% is a very achievable goal, but if you are exercising as much as you say, you might get down to about 13ish%.

Keep us updated, because I'm interested in the results. A lot of us on this board are beginning to cut, and trying to drop BF % right now as well.

You're not a small guy so I would consider how much weight and strength do you feel comfortable losing to win.

Assuming you are already in decent shape and doing it naturally (whatever that means these days), possibly you could drop 1% to 2% or a little more per month while kinda maintaining muscle size and strength, that would get you to maybe 13%-14%. Any more than that and you will need to sacrifice something.
