Bloodwork: What panels to get

So there have been couple questions from some posters on what panels to get done, here are a couple that i recommend
if going through Marek, you can use code: "StanEfferding" for 10% off
I will say this, if you can get down to see our resident Doctor Jose as a PCP, i would say do that as he understand most here want to lift and have goals. If not and you have a PCP, give them the print out from the links below and have them order those test. That is what i do.
if you are a male and want a complete picture of where you are health wise and where you can optimize things or where you need to focus
the Marek complete panel is the way to go. I recommend having this panel completed at least once every 3 years once you are over the age of 30. It can be done annually as that would be best, but I know some insurances dont cover everything and it can get expensive
if you are doing telehealth, you can add zoom meetings to meet with doctor and go over everything.
it covers the following for males

the 3rd and most economical option is the stan efferding check up panel. If you are on a budget, this is the panel you should get.

Not sure what the downvotes on this are for, this is useful stuff. Thanks

If you go through your pcp, is the cost comparable to what is listed through this service? Have you had issues with insurance covering most of the cost?

I've been planning to get the comprehensive panel done through Marek for a long time, I'm just a procrastinator and I keep saying "once I get a job I'll do it," and then I put it all off for another month. I've never seen these particular panels before, in fact, last time I checked their site it must have been before they started working with Stan and Dave Tate because I don't recall seeing them under the "our team" tab.
Do you know why these panels aren't discoverable on their site when you try to navigate through the "lab packages" tab?
I'm comparing all of this now, and the incredibly minor differences between the Power Project panel and the comprehensive panel make me scratch my head. I think I'll still go with the comprehensive panel, but the lab review phone call is tempting.

Marek doesn't do insurance at all, to my understanding. I've heard this said on many podcasts and their FAQ on their site says "Marek Diagnostics will not communicate with insurance companies." So it's all out of your pocket.

quote:I'm on the verge of ordering this (basically, it's the power panel + interpretation with a real doctor?)
the Marek complete panel is the way to go
Question: do you trust their security/privacy/etc. Are you convinced they aren't bad actors (or at the very least, aren't indifferent actors that don't care about your shite)?

Good list -- I'm female so some don't apply to me but I go to a cardiac prevention center in Lafayette -- she does the majority of that list twice a year. Somehow she has a deal with her labs that the cost ends up being $150 or so (she uses two different labs).
With my family history and that nominal cost, I'm good with it. I wills ay she has $500 per year "fee" but my visits are ~$100 and I've never paid for the carotid ultrasounds either (maybe once per year?).
AND the bonus for me is she'll call in meds if I'm sick with easy things .. sinus infection, uti, etc.

I think the complete panel is a couple other markers but dose not have doctors call
Marek is one of the largest diagnostic companies and are completely legit
But if you can, ask you pcp to order these so it’s covered under insurance. Don’t have to go through marek

Should be covered through pcp, if not marek is prolly cheaper if you use one of the discount codes

The comprehensive just has couple extra things that look for certain markers
