Dude, this story is incredible. You didn’t just jump on pills, but instead bettered yourself gradually overtime with small steps. This post is what this forum is all about. Great job.

Listen to Tom Daysping (Dr Lipid) and Peter Attia talk for 8 hours about lipidology. All your questions will be answered.

Increase your fiber intake (will remove cholesterol via stool), try to lose weight (fat loss decreases amount of available fatty acids in circulation), and exercise (this may not decrease cholesterol but will benefit the profile; i.e., your HDL may increase and VLDL and LDL may decrease)

Just remember your body makes a lot of cholesterol because it is important for you to function. I mean your brain is basically water, fat, and cholesterol. Studies show that people of all ages with higher cholesterol live longer.

What is the real truth of this cholesterol stuff? The medical community, from what I can tell, is still all in on LDL being bad. I’m not exactly sure where they stand on saturated fat intake. Statins are still the prescription, either way.
But it seems like here and in other places (I’ve read some stuff by Dr Malcolm Kendrick), people don’t believe this anymore.
