Anyone here used the BedJet sleep system? Where it basically blows ambient air (or heated) into a sheet with a hole in it for the nozzle to fit in. So it is essentially blowing air over you at night. Any reviews/feedback? Thinking about ordering one as it's basically risk free returns for 60 days. My main concern would be that I like to have my sheet/comforter pretty snug against my body, so not sure I would like it "hovering" over me as it's moving the air across my body.

I really want a sleep 8 but don’t feel like dropping $2500 and the monthly fee. As far as the bed jet, I believe there is a cover that you can buy that blows air in the middle of it. That would solve your snug sheet preference issue.

I had one. It works ok but a heavy comforter will keep the air from blowing around and limits the effectiveness. It would probably work well with their air flow sheet and a very light blanket on top.

I ended up going with the Sleep Eight. I love it. Actually had to turn it down a notch because I was getting too cold. You don't have to do the monthly subscription to use it, that just gives extra features that are unneccessary.

I debated the BedJet a few years ago, but ultimately went with the Chilipad Ooler.

The Ooler is expensive, but they do 20% off during major shopping times of year (Black Friday, Memorial Day, etc).

After using the Ooler for 3 years, I can say it is a freakin game changer. It's one of those things you don't realize how much you love until you sleep in another bed. I hate sleeping in another bed because I always wake up hot.

With the Ooler, I am sleeping at 60 degrees every night and it is automated with the app.

Looked at the Ooler, but the cleaning is what kind of has me wanting to go in another direction. How’s the cleaning?

Are you in La. by chance? Wondering how the humidity will affect the cooling, if it’s an evaporative cooler.

The Ooler has a self cleaning setting within the app and uses UV light to clean it. I maybe remember to use it once or twice a month, never had any issues.

I have the Ooler, girlfriend has the basic Chilipad Cube even thought it's the same bed (Long story, they made a mistake and sent me the nicer one).

The Chilipad Cube needs to be manually cleaned with some sort of solution which is a pain in the arse. But honestly, I don't think she ever even does it and we never have had issues. Just empty the water and refill every now and then.

I got myself a BedJet a few years ago and used it between the fitted and top sheets. It was fine. Then I decided to get their Cliud sheet which has large channels for the air to flow through. That made the difference in OK to really good. The sheet allows you to feel the circulation of the air without feeling like it is blowing on your feet/legs.

I would love to try one of the water based systems to compare a cool base vs a cool cover. I definitely notice when I sleep away from home.

Awesome; thanks for this. So does it actually "blow up" the sheets to where they are basically hovering over you or do your sheets/comforter still fit snug to your body?
