Mine is set to 930. Hit my goal about 2/3s of the time

High enough to sit at my desk all day then lift weights to hit it

Should really bump it up a little.

Any idea how that converts to 14,000 steps on FitBit?

It doesn’t convert.

Apple does track steps but it’s not one of the main three things. It’s 1. Move 2. Minutes exercising 3. Hours that you’ve stood up

Thanks. I was wondering how it compared. I hit 18,000 steps on days that I run which is 4 days a week. I usually burn anywhere between 3,000 to 3,400 calories 6 days a week and take in 2,000 to 2,300 calories a day.

I hate this concept. I have a Garmin 920xt. I typically only wear it during workouts. Every time it updates, it turns on the "fitness tracker" feature. I've gotten too lazy to shut it off. I can go run 10 miles and if I forget the watch on for an hour or so, it'll buzz at me to move, because I'm not getting enough steps in . Yesterday I biked for 6 hours and that damned watch was buzzing at me to get my steps in

Yep. That drove me crazy too. I turned those notifications off on my FitBit. It only buzzes me now if I hot my goal. I don't think it will let me turn that one off.

No idea how to change it if I wanted to but it’s a solid daily mark I suppose
