Simple answer...I really like food

The general macros haven't changed much in the last 150 years but what has changed is omega 6 levels. That has also correlated pretty strongly with heart disease. Even factoring in carbs or sugar the main problem is still omega 6 levels. Of course it is hard to get any processed food without a high level omega 6 oil in it. Even if you eat meat, it is now being polluted with bad feed causing itself to be higher in omega 6 levels.

I do think avoiding grains is always a good thing though. You don't you want to eat horse food, like oats.

I take Lipitor with no side effects. Couldn't get my numbers down low enough no matter what diet and exercise I did. Never have been overweight.

That was the first medication prescribed for me when I had high cholesterol levels and within a couple months of being on it I developed joint pain in my knees and ankles.

It was especially bad if I sat around for a while maybe watching a movie or game on TV and then got up to do stuff.

The pain was pretty intense until I got moving and it would ease up a good bit.

Told the Dr. about it and changed it to generic Crestor and no side effects for me with that one.
