I’m starting to get tired of Stronglifts. I think I progressed to fast and my form is breaking down on some lifts.

Anyone have experience using this program? I’m gonna lower my lifts and work on my form for a couple months, and the high volume looks like it could help.

Yep. I did it. It's tough but works. My program that I created takes a few ideas from it.

I've been reading a good bit about it on Reddit, and it seems pretty popular over there right now. The only thing I'm worried about is Sumo Deadlifts and Front Squats because I've never really done those lifts before.

Don't be worried. You should do them. Good for hip and quads. I had a tough time with both of those also. Ended up pulling sumo instead of conventional later on.

Make sure to go through all of the warm up sets and you will find plenty of volume in 5x5. Don't be afraid to drop some weight off if the form is breaking down. I just took 20% off of my rows.

Been doing nSuns for a month now and really like it. I started lifting for the first time in August. Did Stronglifts for 3 months, then switched to Wendler's 5/3/1 for a while, then started nSuns as I was looking to up my overall volume.

I do the 4-day routine and superset all my accessories once I've finished the main 3 work sets for the T1 lift to save time. I do sumo deadlifts but dropped front squat for another round of back squats. I'm already quad heavy as far as leg balance, and front squats sucked on my knees. Make sure you do tons of back work. 75% of my accessories are back exercises to balance out all that pressing.

Yeah I was thinking about doing the 4 day split. I might just do more back squats if front squats are bad on the knees. I had ACL surgery about 6 years ago, and still get nervous with it when I'm squatting. I'm gonna start Nsuns this week.

I did the 4 day as well. Couldn't do front squats at the time so I just did high bar squats.

I'm looking at this 4 day. Looks like a decent amount of volume. Think it'll be ok while on 15-20% deficit?

That's a big deficit for this type of program. If you want to run it, I'd shoot for lowering the Training maxes. Go to the formulas and run with 85% or 80%. If you think you can recover decently, up it as needed.

So I missed yesterday, but I started today with Squat and Sumo Deadlift. Holy crap, I don’t think I ever sweated that much doing Stronglifts. I did 1 min rests. Some accessories I did were Romanian Deadlifts, Calf Raises, and Facepulls. I liked it a lot.

Much quicker than me. Too me at least 1.5 hours and I didn't do accessories.

I dunno. Probably too long. My 1+ sets requires a lot of warming up. I did about 10-15 minutes of stretching/warm ups, then weight warm ups. Took about 5 to 6 jumps before I got into the heavy sets. After the 1+, it was tough to get to the end. Then the next exercise came up, I was always warn out at that point. I probably took about 2 minutes in between.

Ah gotcha, yeah I don't really do a ton of warm ups cause I'm not squatting super heavy yet. I pretty much do 3-4 warm up sets then hit my working sets. I was able to do 3 reps for my +1 so I was pumped about that.
