Anyone experienced back pain on the keto diet?

I have been easing into the keto diet over the last 5 days and noticed my back is hurting around where my kidneys are located. Is this due to electrolyte imbalance or is something more serious going on? Appreciate any help.

Yes on electrolytes or could be kidney stones.
But I doubt you got those from only 5 days of keto.

Probably electrolyte imbalance.
Start using Himalayan salt and increase your magnesium and potassium.
Magnesium at night will help relax you

Ditch the keto and eat less calories. Problem solved

I never had the back pain but would get gnarly foot cramps. Magnesium is good to take. I also would just put a bouillon cube in hot water and rink it. Never got the cramps again after that. Also drink plenty of water on the regular.
