Anyone else doing PH3 program?

I’ve been doing the PH3 program and loving it for the most part. The only thing is that I feel like the constant rep tests are breaking me down way too fast. Obviously the program calls for the rep tests for a specific reason, but do you think it would be pointless to just eliminate the rep tests and do the program with my last recorded max? I love the constant utlization of the big 3 lifts, but I feel like I’m not helping myself with the constant rep tests.

I've looked it over a time or two. It doesn't look that bad as far as the rep tests.
What are you doing for your hypertrophy sets?

I do what the program says. I add shoulders and core work becasue it doesn’t realky include them.

I would slow the rep test down and only do them once every 4 weeks. Especially if you are feeling broken down. Also could look at doing a deload week like every 6 weeks and just doing the rep test from there.

I have run it a couple of times. The AMRAP tests allow the program to adjust. You can definitely just hit the required reps, but I enjoyed pushing myself and just letting the program adjust automatically.
I also ran the program as written. I feel like it was plenty of volume. Adding extra shoulder work to a program with 3 bench days, another DB bench day, plus lateral raises and a shoulder press seems excess to me. I did add core work and face pulls.
My numbers went up pretty good, but I also respond better to DUP.

Lately I have been running the TSA intermediate template that Bryce and his team put out as free content on their site.
The first was this PH3.
So, I guess a small sample size really. BUT I do like it..

Maybe I shouldn't have said I respond better. It is probably more so that I enjoy it more.
I think it helped my bench more than the other 2 lifts.
