you would not have to.
somebody (not me) would just have to start the group and advertise it. then you're just a random name in the group.

I use strava/Garmin connect. I don't do the friend/follow thing at all....just keep track of my own stuff. I'm not advertising what I do. Then I wouldn't be able to lie about how hard I'm working
