I know there have been a good bit of shoe advice threads lately, did some searching and didn't find much on this topic.
I have a bad problem of getting up onto my toes during squats especially when bar is overhead...overhead squats, snatches, etc.
One of the coaches at my gym recommended that I could benefit from a pair of Lifter shoes, what say the TD Health/Fitness board? Would this help, and advice on which ones to buy?

My weightlifting shoes are on for BS, FS, OHS, Cleans, Jerks, and Snatches. Hell, I'll even were them for one legged squats (pistols). Started in some reebok Crossfit lifters. Currently using Nike Romaleos 3. I like the tighter toe box on the Nike's.

I have Romaleos 2. They help by assisting ankle flexibility.
My recommendation would be to check ankle mobility vs shoulder mobility. If overhead is your big issue, it might be shoulder positioning, not ankle.
If ankle, Romaleos have been good for me, just pricey. I'd consider devoting some time to building mobility in the area too.

I got the Metcon/Free's and they are fantastic for lifting, walking, or even shooting hoops. I like them alot for their versatility.
