I think I am joining the party this year. I took a break from the heavy back squats due to a knee issue, but I am ready to hit it hard again.

Might pick up the eating thick plan, I'm down to support the ppsa cause. I think he is just doing plans and his sorinex stuff. I saw he got released from USC earlier this year. Probably for the best since the head coach just got fired.

yea gonna buy 2 from him tomorrow. And yea he is a good guy it seems like, atleast from social media. Seems to be a good dad too and honestly that is the most important thing in the world.

and yea he got released i think 2 years ago by clay. but in the end it was just to try and save his own arse. S&C wasnt there problem for sure but as usual it gets banged on, similar to moffit on the rant.

and yea i think he is just doing the plans and sorinex stuff.

Finished Pool Season last month and wrapping up Meat Wagon next week. Both have been awesome programs with Meat Wagon having more lower body work, more intensity, and more variety in the big lifts.

I'm ready for Squatober baws!

Highly recommend both though.

I am all in for squatobe. I buy his plans and they seem simple but if you do them correctly, they will kick your arse. Question: Where does one get the official t-shirt?

I wonder how he found out about TD . Oh well they aren't that expensive anyways. I like the style of them and he sounds like I am supporting a good dude who consistently puts out a solid product.

This week and next week are kind of the money weeks for that program. I should be able to set some rep PRs though. I really never 1RM anymore, but do love hitting 3, 5 and 10 rep maxes.

Pool Season seemed like more hypertrophy based with lower intensity and higher volume. PS is structured as a bench day, back day, squat day, pump day. Meat Wagon has mainly been in the 3-5 rep range in that 80%-85% window, with a final back off set in the 8-10 rep range in the 70% area. Meat Wagon also has squats, front squats, DL, snatch grip DL, sumo DL - and I really like that variety since I'm not really training for a specific lift 1RM. Meat Wagon is structured as a push + squat day, pull day, push + squat day, pull day.

My previous 3 RM for weighted chin-ups was +65#. I did 4x3 @ +70 this week, so that was a 3 rep PR for 4 sets. I'm shooting for a 5 RM snatch grip DL tomorrow @ 250# - my grip might be the limiting factor in that though. I'm honestly pretty bad about testing my strength - I never just test a rep max. As my training max increases, I just wait for a rep PR to come up in the program and then try my best to hit it (like what happened this week with the chin-ups). These weren't PRs but my heaviest squat and DL in awhile were SSB @ 230 for 2 and DL @ 295 for 2 earlier this week. Not PRs, but they felt way easier than I thought they would for not lifting heavy in awhile.

I did an InBody scan around mid-way through Pool Season and I was 185# @ 21% body fat. By far the highest BF% I've had in years. Looking to get back down in the 170s and mid-teens BF%. I think I'm pretty close right now, but I'll take another scan in about a month.

sounds awesome man. be careful with cutting on squatober btw.

I am moving into my new house this weekend but prolly gonna take until end of the month to really have the gym setup. Im gonna do the gslp aesthics template with conditioning 3 days a week until i have to reset, then gonna add upper body volume to keep progress moving. Once i milk the LP for all its worth, gonna go to PPSA for prolly a year or more. might throw in jack street boys from beleive throw a couple times here and there to change it up but in general over next 2-3 years I just want to focus on getting strong AF and thick while keeping bodyfat below 17%.

This has pretty much been my training philosophy for awhile now. Works really well for strength and size. Helped me get to a 500 deadlift

Agreed. Double A seems like a great dude. I’ve bought a few of his programs and couldn’t be happier to support him.

He also has a sick Sorinex home gym setup it seems. Good for him! He earned it.
