Powerblock, nuebells, ironmasters, mx select, peppin spinlock and then the rogue ohio Olympic long handles

Pretty much in that order.

For simplicity and longevity, I would suggest Powerblocks. They don’t have a lot of mechanics to them. I know some of the adjustable DBs with the rotary dial have an issue with malfunctioning. Or at least they used to.

I've had Bowflex, Powerblock, and now Nuobells.

The Bowflex dumbbells are easy to adjust but are bulky and limit some of your movements.

The Powerblock dumbells are sturdy, slower to adjust than the Bowflex (still easy) but I did not like the feel of them with my hand inside the dumbbell.

I've had the Nuobells for close to a month and they are by far the easiest to adjust and feel more like a real dumbbell.

Most people will say that you can't drop the dumbbells but I never dropped real dumbbells when I used them so that was of no concern to me.
