I backpack a decent amount and am looking to up my pace by adding a vest for road training

I'd rather not load up my pack and if I try jog with it, it bounces way too much.

My normal overnight pack weight is in 30s but often have my daughter on long day hikes and we are in the upper 60s. My pace has slipped by about 1 mile per hour in the past year and a half and I'd like to get it back. Thinking road jogging/fast walking will help a bit and at least give me more daily hike training.

Yep. I've filled it to 50 and it can handle more. The pockets are big.

Yea that's it. As far as jogging, it bounces some but they all will do that pretty much. But I do lots of fast walks and it doesn't move.

I like the idea of flat plates rather than the little bricks. But was going to need 3 to 4 of their 13lbs in the front and back each. Wasn’t sure if they would fit.

So far, I've put a 13.75 and 8.75 in a single pouch and they fit easily. I think you'll definitely get 3, not sure about 4.

I still havr plenty of room with the 2 in there.

It is. I can't imagine running with that. It would wreck my joints.

I am almost there now backpacking in the woods on trails that can average 10-14% grades with some technical terrain. I think pavement or graded park trails will be just fine.

I may get that. I like the Rogue one better but damn it's expensive.

This will be a nice addition to any fasted walks.
