That's awesome. I thought I was in better shape than I am.

After the first week shoulder hurt like a mother fricker. I took a few days off and now it's better.

When I started this challenge I was only able to do sets of 10 and I was doing about 150-200 a day.

Now, I can knock out 10 sets of 20 pretty damn quickly. I did 300 yesterday, but I know I could have done at least another 100. I'm trying to take it easy so I don't hurt my shoulder again. I'm pumped up about this pull up challenge next month.

Nice work man. As long as you're better than you were the day before, then it's a victory.

Is it pull-ups or running miles next month? Either way I'm in.

I'm hoping pull-ups.

I hate running.

Also, I'm doing all weight and not that much cardio now.

I've heard talk of both. I saw possibly a 1000 pull ups challenge or a 100 mile challenge.

I'm personally hoping for the pull ups. I walk about 10 miles a day for work anyways. I hate having my feet take me places now

But either way I'm in. This push up thread has given me a lot of motivation to get back to my regular work out, plus I can actually see and feel a huge differnce from the push ups. The accountability and BS between posters has made this fun.

Same here I've really been slacking on cardio. Which is why I'm kind of hoping it's running.

I got a little behind so I'm trying to get back to a 333/day average. Done for the day.

8/21- 125
8/22- 725

That gives me a 7k total thusfar.

I was doing cardio three days a week. I'm cutting it down to one day a week.

Match pushups with jumping jacks. Cardio plus plyo.

No thanks.

I do a HIIT workout on Monday. Resistance work every day with one off day a week.

Learning new stuff from everyone that is sticking with this.

I vote for running. I need to drop some lbs and the cardio will help with that. I've been running about 3 miles about 2 to 3 times per week. This might help me stay more consistent. Then maybe after I shed some pounds the pull-ups challenge MIGHT be doable for me.

I'm voting for running too, if my vote counts for anything. Only because up here September is the last full month of great running weather before the cold comes in.

It's nice and miserable down here.

I'll def have to utilize my treadmill a little more. I always prefer running outside, but with the heat and the afternoon showers, the treadmill will come in handy.

Now, come Oct and Nov, running outside is awesome down here.

Yeah that's true, I'm in the minority being up here. I will say I much prefer running in the LA heat than the cold. I hate that burning sensation you get in your throat and lungs when you breathe in that cold air.

Once it gets below 50 or so here, I don't mess with that. My treadmill gets most of its use in the winter time during Pelicans games. Start running at tipoff, see if I can make it til halftime. Haha

I'm down for whatever. Cardio will really benefit me more than anything. I've been getting off of the cancer sticks for the past few weeks, today marks my 4th day straight without one of those little white devils. The cravings are almost completely gone. I'm pretty deep into a bottle of crown black and I'm not even craving one.

Whatever the challenge is, I'm ready.

I think either way I'm going to try the 1000 pull ups. I like them anyways.

I do something similar with my drinking.
