Dustin Johnson: won Masters and US Open. Has been close to winning the PGA and The Open.

Brooks Koepka: two wins each at the PGA and US Open. Has been close with Masters and The Open.

Phil Mickelson: three wins at the Masters, one win each at the PGA and The Open. Five-time runner-up at the US Open. His chances are dwindling but he seems to be somewhat competitive in the majors at the young age of 50.

Rory McIlroy: two wins at the PGA, one win each at the US Open and The Open. He seems to be an afterthought nowadays but still remains competitive, but not like he once was.

Jordan Spieth: one win each at the Masters, US Open, The Open. His Texas Open win and top five 2021 Masters showing is a sign that maybe this could be the year he can close the deal?

Spieth then
Rory
By just having one to go

Dj and Brooks I’d say about even

Phil not much chance.

Spieth then Rory.
If spieth keeps it rolling his game sets up good for kiawah
I think Rory gets it together this year and contends in ‘22 masters.

DJ- I think he can do it. Hard to argue with #1 player in the world, just a bad few holes this week.

Brooks- not getting grand slam

The hardest to win is the US Open and Phil has turned the corner on that one I think.

Grand Slam or Career Grand Slam?

If Dustin Johnson gets on a roll like he was at the end of last year, he could win two in one year. Or he could win em both by the end of 22. That’s how good he was playing at the end of last year. When he’s hot, there’s not a golfer that is close to him right now.

But I think just by proximity it’s going to be Spieth or Rory that get the career grand slam first. However, Rory has a lot of flaws in his game right now so I don’t think he makes it before Spieth. Phil just doesn’t have it anymore. As much as it pains me to say that.

Brooks is a crap shoot. His best isn’t as good as any of these other guys’ best and it’s not clear how motivated he is to do it. Didn’t he say that he’s not even a huge golf fan or something like that?

i’d say it’s the opposite. his best is as good as anyone. but you don’t really know when you are going to get it.

Jordan Spieth

The PGA is the one that eluded Arnold Palmer and Tom Watson.
