Going on a trip to Orange beach/gulf shores and we would like to play Craft Farms one day. I have never played there before, but I know it is nice. Which course is your favorite? Cypress Bend or Cotton Creek?

prefer Cypress as it is not as quirky. but both are very good and always in tip top shape. I would not be sad playing them every day.

I played Cotton Creek the week of Thanksgiving. Tight lies in the fairways (nice) but the greens were covered in unrepaired ball marks. They rolled pretty good, considering, but be prepared to use your divot tool a lot.

Craft is not good - skip it - play Peninsula and Kiva - they’ve redone kiva - cleared out a lot of trees and scrub bushes - it is really playable now and a great track

We’re going to play Kiva one of the days we are there. That’s definitely going to happen. I put it up to the guys on either peninsula or craft farms and it was unanimous craft farms.

The last hurricane cleared those trees and scrub bushes

Peninsula is always my favorite and semi home course. Played Cotton Creek 3 weeks ago. It’s in good shape. Wide open fairways and very forgiving. Cypress is a bit more tight and has a few quirky cheat holes. Played Kiva 2 weeks ago. Be prepared to adjust putting on the greens. Craft is super slow and Kiva is a tap and gone!
