When to switch from game improvement to blades

Have some old arse X-14's wanna switch to some old arse Mizuno MP-32's. Have you made the switch and did your game improve?

I wouldn't make that big of a jump. Get players irons. Best of both worlds. Forged, small, but with cavity backs.

If you really want to try the blades you can probably find a set of those for fairly cheap being as they are from years back. May be worth just trying them out and seeing if you're ready to hit them or need to go somewhere in between.

There are tour pros that don't play blades, FWIW. Just get a players type set like AP2's

Why is that all shitty players have an infatuation with playing a. Blade? Unless you're hitting balls everyday, stick to an AP2 or something similar!

Blades aren't that hard to hit. I'm a 14 handicap and play some old blades. No big deal.

contacted my buddy who is a golf pro yesterday about the mizuno's and he said

"brooks koepka won the US Open and he doesn't even play with blades, why would you?"

Point is that it doesn't matter what I play with I hit it about the same. I'm not very good and can hit the blades fine.

You are a 14. Unless your are the worst putter on the planet and average 45 putts per round you do not hit them "fine".
