Do you carry 5 wedges, 3-9 iron (7 clubs), a driver, and a 3 wood? Do you not have a distance gap in there somewhere?

Well the foot wedge I don't keep in bag.

No distance gaps. You got to learn to hit 3/4 shots if you gonna score

I can't hit those Jaws wedges. When I hit them it will shred the cover off the ball. There will actually be pieces of the ball in the grooves

60* - 90 yard full. 95 if I go after it
56* - 95-110 normally
50* - 110-125. Can poke to 130 but not worth it normally.

My 50 was a 52 that was bent because new iron Pwedge goes so far.

I see numbers like this and wonder what I am doing wrong with my swing. For reference, my average drive off the tee is in the 250s, so not a bomber but I don't lack distance.

Mizuno JPX 850 Forged
45 PW - 100-110 yards
50 GW - 80-90 yards

56 Vokey SW - 70-80 yards

How are you bombing a 58 LW 115 yards? That ball must be a moonshot. Or maybe I just don't properly flight my shots down and control trajectory and spin the way one should.

I would presume with his wedge distances, he is hitting driver 170+ ball speed.

With your 250 yard drives, you are likely closer to 150 ball speed. That's a huge difference in swing speed that will carry throughout the bag.

He most probably has a much higher SS than I do. Was just thinking with a 58 degree that energy would transfer and send the ball up higher more than it adds distance.

I hit all of my clubs high, even a 4 iron. Never have issues with getting the ball up. Maybe too high. Got some lessons coming up so plan to address it then. Just wondering if I have some swing flaw that sends the ball up rather than a nice flighted shot with more distance.

ETA - I think my issue is a weak golf grip. My shots have all the signs of too weak of grip, higher flight, off to the right, fades. I've tried a stronger grip and it's just not comfortable to me.
