Some of us go to the golf course to play golf instead of using it as an excuse to be stupid.

Never. I love drinking and other forms of mind altering fun. But I also love golf.
Never had a reason to combine the two.

Yeah I dont get the let's get trashed at the golf course segment out there.. Only time I've ever been a bit tipsy was at a charity scramble and there were drinks at every hole.. But a normal round that's a hard no... I don't mind maybe a beer or seltzer during the round hell a transfusion at the turn is nice but hard drinking..nah

This is what bugs me about the last couple charity events I have played in. I get extra couple bucks for mulligans but...air cannons, hula hoops in the fairway, extension throws, ...I just want to play golf

But the charity just wants to make money. I agree with you that I don't like the extra stuff, but I don't really expect to have a normal round of golf at a fundraising scramble.

Nope, i drink beer watching the game. I play golf and maybe have a beer after. Never during.
