And you think one random round is representative of his game over actual tournament results?

He does those rounds with no course knowledge and no idea how the greens roll. I think he's even said that he doesn't warm up, though that not always be the case. In the video it was obvious that the wind was whipping as well.
He definitely wasn't sharp in the last video, but who knows when it was filmed and these vids are usually not a great reflection of how he looks during tournament play.

When he came to TCC a few months ago he hit on the range a bit. I was walking up when he was leaving the range, I think he was only there for 15 minutes and only hit a few putts.
It was pretty cold and windy so we knew it was going to be virtually impossible to break the course record but the course is a good Augusta prep so that's why he chose it. Also didn't have a member ride with them to give any tips about the course. He spent more time answering questions and signing autographs for kids after his round than he did warming up.

To be fair, I said I’d expect him to compete before I expected him to be DFL. That was just me wishing and hoping. But here we are…
