Is Tiger in contention? Might have to watch golf for the first time in years

Has not won one in 10 years. He is 42. Competition on tour is incredible now.
Seems like a really good, safe bet.

Tiger hit the tour at the perfect time as a tweener.

He was playing against old fogeys who were about to retire and the new wave of millennials hadn't arrived yet.

He’s the reason the new wave of millennial even exist. If he wasn’t so popular you’d still have a bunch of old unathletic dudes out there

Woods is a washed up, heavily injured old man.

Deal with it.

I don’t think Tiger will win another major in the next five years.

Where do I place my bet at?

I mean, nah. He's pretty comfortably a top 20 player on tour right now. I guess it depends what you consider "safe".

ETA - his odds to win a major this year were like +600 in January.

See how that works. Both statements made by each are hot damn facts.

I said I made a bet in Nov 2009 with a friend that TW would not win another major in 5 years from that time. But bnever claimed it was a monster bet. It was $200 if I recall. Who knew that I could have said $10,000 and given him 9 years?
