Transition to front side

Having issues shifting weight to the front foot to trigger the downswing. If I try to exaggerate it it feels forced and I end up getting out of sync, usually results in early releasing and chunking it.
What sort of drills or swing thoughts do you guys like to use to reinforce the weight shift of your transition?

First move from top of swing should be left foot (for right handed player) pushing towards the ball, which will get your left hip going backwards-think sitting in an office chair that spins and you want to spin it to the left-I started doing this after a lesson a few months ago and it’s been a game changer - only other thing is to swing out to first base on downswing and you are golden

Think of it as a pressure shift instead of a weight shift. This thought will help keep you more centered and under control.

This swing thought nearly wrecked my game, I mean at the end of the day path is dictated by plane and rotation. If you're in a good position and TURN to impact you should be good. Think of the left shoulder moving up and left. Swinging out made me get really steep and high handle at impact. Almost counterintuitive for me, I have to think swing hard left to hit draws

Check your stance width. If it's too wide you'll have trouble getting all your weight onto your lead leg. Me and my golf have 3 main drills for weight transfer, one with alignment sticks, one with range baskets, and one called the toe tap drill. Their YouTube videos will show and explain the drills way better than I could here.

Look up Jake on instagram. He’s a good follow regardless but recently showed a drill using dog squeaky toys under each foot to show weight transition

Office chair visual is good. Helps me think of my foot as more as a leverage/pressure point to rotate around than actually throwing the weight forward.
I have a tendency to want to push off my back right foot and throw the back shoulder. Gets me super steep.
Need to remember to pull my hands through from the inside.

I try to remember that not only am I trying to get weight to left foot, but really to get that weight to the left heel.
