It's going to be a great tournament on a grand course.

Everything thing that I have heard is it makes you hit all of the shots.

Watching Tiger on the GC now hitting flop shots.

Was the 2015 match play the last tournament there?

Were many renovations done after that. I found it on YouTube and watching. Course looks nice.

Tiger and J Day are screwed with that forecast...

Man, I really liked both of them in tier 2 of my pool but this does make you think.

Day has been sneakily playing really good golf.

Who do you guys like at this besides the usual suspects?

Max Homa has been playing pretty well and is from the area.

I played here last October. That rough is NO JOKE. shite grabs hold of your club. Nastiest stuff I’ve ever played. Nice course overall and you can see the Olympic club from tee 14/15.

It was great weather our entire trip. High of low 70s, low of low 60s.

Great golf all around the SF area.

I think the key to this course will be keeping it in the short grass.

Any reason on these?

Tiger? Back?

Rickie? Driver?

Spieth? Head?

Phil has been playing okay, just dont think he gives a shite anymore.

Tiger - back and barely playing since the restart
Rickie - all over the place and another bad Sunday
Spieth - head and tough thick rough.
Phil - like you said, playing OK, just not sure he’s gonna get it done on a difficult course in cold weather. Just a gut feeling.

Can someone explain why I should not pick Jason Day for my office pool?

He has good value in it

I think the concerns about him are injury related and the forecast being cold weather. He’s a great player.

We do an 8 player pool with 4 tiers.

Day probably has good value for the first 2 days in the 2nd tier if your top guys are running well.

What does everyone think about Finau? Caddie issues going to hold him back?

Matsuyama
Morikawa- both of these IF they can have a good week putting

Hatton- decent stats

I have a couple of coins invested in these 3 golfers. Best of luck to my fellow degenerate gamblers...
