Every other OEM is within dollars of the rest. Not hundreds

Your counter is not apples to apples.

Glad you like your sticks though!

Their 7 or 11 deal is very competitive or better than any other manufacturer.

Taylormade has a set of irons that cost 2500.00

PXG Gen 4 full bag deal for 2600.00 includes Driver, Fairway wood, Hybrid, irons, wedges, putter, bag, cap and towel.

Saw that PXG iron come apart on the Masters telecast, and that's supposed to be their top of the line equipment. That did it for me.

Ive got the 0311. I wanna know what the 02s "feel" like. Are they harder? Cause i like the feel of the iron to be like a pillow hitting a marshmallow per say. IYO, what do they feel like and your handicap. Im about an 8 or so.

Not sure what that proves.

I have seen plenty of Callaway irons loose the center dampening badge, the center of a Ping S59 iron fall out and a large number of TaylorMade drivers crack.

When the TM 790's came out, the polymer oozed out when left in the trunk on a hot day.

Things happen to every manufacturer, welds fail, glue fails, etc...

Your clubs have a forged face and the 0211's are cast like Pings.

Honestly I have owned Ping and Muira irons.

For me, if I hit both in the middle of the face, I feel a slight difference in softness.

I will say that the 0211's feel pretty soft to me, softer than my last set of Ping g425 irons.

I guess that I am the wrong person to ask about feel.

The feel of a iron has never really mattered to me.

I've broken so many fingers in Football. I don't feel anything anyway with nerve damage and RA.

I play graphite shafts in my irons because my left wrist is so bad from a tumor.

I more interested in where it goes.

I hear what you are saying, but I personally am a feel player and gain confidence by feeling great shots off the clubface.

I play Callaway Apex but i have buddies that have some PXG irons and I am blown away by the sound and feel of them. I heard over and over about the Srixons softness so I went to Pga to hit them. I found them to be inconsistent in feel for me when compared to the pxgs.

I thought my misses felt better and had narrower dispersion w pxg as well (0311 P) compared to the zx7 and 5s.

I absolutely hate the advertising and voice of Parsons and think it cheapens the brand.

That said, I still really want their irons but don’t want to spend that money right now.

I am high single digit and want to get a bit lower so I can get fit when playing my best.

There will be a price drop on the Gen 4's soon.

The thing that I like about my irons is that I can hit it all over the face and still get good distance out of them.

Things like commercials don't faze me, getting the ball on the green does.

It's a good time to be a golfer, there is a lot of very good equipment out there.

I totally agree w you. Golf is about your misses.

But there’s a lot that goes into what individuals want in their clubs.

Higher ball flights
More ability to work ball L/R
feel/sound of impact
Top line look at address
Forgiveness
Cost
Cavityback/blades/muscleback etc
Weighting

The tech is so good across the board that classifying one brand junk or another the best is foolish. Complaining about value is meaningless due to so much variation in what people are looking for/find important.

My opinion is that if you are serious about golf you short change yourself if you don’t go for fittings. Even if you don’t buy the clubs the info learned from the fitting is valuable.
