have YouTube TV and while the tournament was on, on the channel guide CW was showing Paid Programming instead of the LIV Golf event. They are losing viewers if that's how it's always showing up.

I have YoutubeTV as well, and it showed up as "Day 3, Singapore LiV" or something to that effect. but was not paid programming.

It's likely something to do with your local affiliate not updating the guide.

Still can't figure out why the PGA Tourn won't let guys wear shorts. Clearly every golfer on the planet would rather wear shorts when playing.

It might just be me, but the shorts make it look like a practice round. When I think professional golf I think guys in polos and pants.

I’m not saying it’s bad that LIV allows it, but I don’t see that ever coming to the PGA.

I don't think many people will argue that pants look more professional than shorts. But if that's the argument against it, the shorts are more "professional" than some of the joggers some of the guys are wearing that are basically workout clothes. It's not like they are going to be out there in gym shorts. On every level, shorts are a perfectly acceptable and classy thing to wear while playing.

It's definitely going to happen. Sooner than later imo. Just another thing LIV did that the actual players want that will make the PGA adjust their stance for the better of the players. Tiger has been on record numerous times saying that he doesn't know why they can't wear shorts and said the Tour is old fashioned with that rule.

Players can just point to the LPGA and be like "hey The ladies wear booty shorts and mini skirts" (no complaints here). Especially since they are about to have combined events.

Honestly the zurich might be a good place to institute something like the shorts.

They really need to go all in with the party at toruneys like the Zurich that are already doing different things as it is.

It’s night and day.

Phil and Brooks look like pure shite in shorts. I’m sure Reed looks pitiful in shorts, which is why he still wears pants.

Hell, Tiger and his long shorts look TERRIBLE. I genuinely think looking like a nerd in shorts would have affected his brand.

I really hope they don’t let them wear shorts on the PGA Tour.

I'd probably disagree with both of those. They look pretty normal, both have muscular legs. It's Phils shoe/sock choice that throws it off for me with him. Brooks looks perfectly normal and has decent style.

100% has kankles

I don't know man. It doesn't take long to get used to it. Once you see them a few times in shorts you're used to it. It's like whenever you play with your buddies, you don't care what their legs look like, it's 90 degrees outside, you just want to dress in what is comfortable/what the weather calls for.

I just think the tour is moving towards what the players want. And I'd be willing to be that almost all of them would wear shorts most of the time. Practice rounds, pro ams, LIV, college golf, etc. tell you that that's what they want to wear.

Make them wear pants for the majors or something if you want to keep it old fashioned. Or maybe make an adjustment when the temp is supposed to be in the 90's for that tournament then they are allowed to that week. It literally makes no sense to make someone wear pants while playing golf in the summer.

My man, Phil looks terrible in shorts.

And this here simply is not a good look. Shorts don’t work on a guy with a gut and no arse. He looks infinitely better and more athletic in pants.

You’d have to kill me before you could make me want to watch Tiger in some damn knee length shorts

Please do not make me watch these guys in shorts.

Tiger only has ~9 majors if he looked like this his whole career.

You hardly ever see PGA pro's in long pants during practice rounds. There should be an alternative on days when it's oppressively hot and humid.

The track/sweatpants look is terrible
