Tipping after a lesson

I’ve seen some post about tipping after a lesson and want to let you know what we expect.
We never expect a tip. We would rather you take more lessons. Our service and time is already in the rate. There is also no reason to tip because it’s up to you to practice to get better. If you go out and shoot your best round and feel that it’s from the lesson, schedule another to get even better.

Tipping a golf instructor in a resort setting is completely legit. I can see your point if the instruction takes place at a local facility, though.

How about just say this......
How much I owe you?
Works every time.
You people and this tipping obsession.

There is no how much I owe you. That should be already known.

If you tip your pro, you must be tipping your plumber too. Rates are set to be more fair for the pro

So you never take lessons from the same guy? Or do you think he will change his mind?

So just to get the ball rolling again, what price range is fair for a one hour lesson?
With all the bells and whistles I’m guessing from $90-125.
What says the OT?

Depends who it is. Could be $50. Could be $200. For a good teacher who will use TrackMan or other devices you are looking around $100.
