Going play for the first time at the end of May, assuming it’s open to the public???? Closest course to the house we got, so hope it’s in decent shape...

Was in great shape when I played it last summer. Fun course but damn it can get windy

Played it in November and it was solid for that time of year. Really liked the layout and as mentioned can be pretty windy. Not sure on condition at this point but it should be good.

I play there every summer when we stay in Pensacola Beach. It's really the only good course within 30 minutes of that area. It's a nice track.
As others have said it does get windy, last summer I remember playing #17 a par 3 directly into about a 30-40 mph wind gust. Pin was in the back of the green about 190, flushed a 3 wood and barely got to the front of the green. My partner and I just laughed.
It can be a tough course if you're not hitting the ball well, but it's not the most difficult.

Same here. I played it a lot when I was younger when we would go to the beach. I played it about a year ago for the first time in a while and it is still a quality course for the money. They used to have two courses years back. I believe it is down to one now.

Which panhandle beach course doesn’t get windy?
