I heard the superintendent was upset they made it so easy for the first round and wanted to dry it up.

Lulz, NO. The members and the super want it to be a bloodbath. The USGA was scared pissing off the players Thursday...Wing Foot wants the winning score to be +5.

And none of the members could break 110 on it, its just going to give a bigger advantage to the bomb and gouge crowd, shots that should stay in fairway or on green wont.

Itll be luck, truth

Did you think there would be under par rounds on Sunday at Winged Foot? A Sunday massacre was always in the plans. This is the way

It helps when your spotters frick up their one job and cause a lost ball off the first.

Not if Dechambaw or Wolff play the wrong angles, or the will get exposed.

Or don’t hit it in the trees where the spotters are not looking

Dude it’s 62F up there right now. Not much drying out going on. This isn’t the middle of June.

Obviously it wasn’t perfect.

Shots like that have been few and far between and this course has been fair enough today. If you miss fairways and greens or leave your ball in the wrong spot, you’re getting punished...like you should in a US Open.
