If you mean, Rahm and Vik, yeah. But those young cats aint ready to win majors. They are good players but there are levels to this shite. Justin Rose kicked our arse in this Ryder Cup. Any one of those rookies would be lucky to have a career like Rose. It always comes down to putting.

Why the frick did Fowler give Fleetwood clinching putt?

Because he was scared to death of his own putt. Fowler is scared of his own shadow. Would rather be liked than to win.

Europe is a bound when it comes to the Ryder Cup. They leave their egos at the door and play as a team.

America is pathetic. They don't have a bond like the Euro's. That "it" factor just simply isn't there. So many locker room stories come out each and ever year. The one that continues to stand out, Spieth not wanting to play with Reed a few years back. Suck it up and play leave your shite behind. Picks were dismal this year too. Some guy that slices the frick out of the ball?? Got lucky on the 18th at the open because that fairway was 150yrds wide, yeah let's pick him. Or JT who hasn't done shite this year..."oh you don't leave JT at home"...are you fricking retarded? Yeah, let's pick the BU guy over Glover who was on fire going into the Cup. plus, JT's celebrations always seem forced. Then Zach saying he is proud of his guys after Fridays matches, fricking pansie - you got fricked...but yeah let's go tell grown men I'm still proud of you...pathetic.

They need to make the event worth some cash. Winner take all. It’ll be the only way to prevent some people from treating it like an exhibition (what Rory called it in his 20s)

It’s such an incredible event it’s a shame so many players show up out of form

So you’re telling me you didn’t watch JT play in the cup. He was one of the few players we had who showed any intensity and was 4th in points for the US.

Zach made a huge mistake pairing him with Speith in foursomes Saturday as Speith couldn’t find a fairway with any club he hit. Needed to put Thomas with literally anyone else.

ZJ didn't pick Clark. Clark auto qualified on points. Clark also won another tournament this year. He was #2 in points.

The clear change that should've happened was Cam Young for Burns in my opinion.

Burns was one of the top 4 players for the US. One of the only Americans with positive strokes gained. And it would have been even better if ZJ wasn’t an idiot and keeping a birdie machine player out of freaking fourballs

Unless Rickie auto qualifies, he should never see a Ryder cup again

I'm not talking in hindsight. Base on reports, it seemed Burns was brought in to play foursomes with Scotty until ZJ freaked out after day 1 and put Brooks out there. Maybe Burns plays better than Brooks on that day if given the chance, but we will never know.

I am basically saying this Young stuff after hearing some arguments on the Fried Egg podcast. They were arguing that Burns was a bad course fit since he's not a great driver of the ball. They made arguments that Young would've fit better based on his strengths in foursomes.

I agree about Rickie. Who knows, maybe Rickie would make a good arse Captain and eventual Captain.

Lucas Glover would have been a better fit for this course than all of them.

I never thought I'd despise any sport more than the NFL or NBA but I despise golf more........the PGA make Rory (whiny POS) as their spokesman and he walks around saying "we're trying to grow the game" while screaming "frick those guys (LIV)" and "frick those guys too bc they suck (PGA players ranked outside the top 70 or 80 for the new "elevated" events).

Until LIV players can earn points to compete for Ryder Cup or President Cup teams, the US will never be competitive.

Actually made me "hate" the US squad more.
I hate that we lost, but I give the Euros a ton of respect for playing as a team and executing shots. US team just ran into the perfect storm (hot players and great team chemistry) and it showed.
Did not seem that they played with much fire or commitment. Put the lack of getting paid behind you until after the tournament, and then bring it up. Lack of leadership and no confidence in Captain.

There are quite a few on that team that I wouldn't miss if they went to LIV.

DataGolf at the time pegged the chances of the US team flipping all four of those matches into the win column at 0.1 per cent.
