It’s been a few years since we had an exciting finish to The Players.
Last year Kim winning at 21 years old was exciting as Poulter went for broke and Kim had best round of Day. The year before the playoff with Fowler.

Brooks Kopeka with a double eagle on 16

I thought he was ‘15 and Fowler was ‘16. Oh well got years wrong. But the not exciting finishes post was incorrect also.

Koepka ties course record with 63
Aphibarnrat is -8 through 13, got a chance at 62
ETA: Wonder if the pins are in good spots or the wind is down, but lots of low rounds today

Webb fricking Simpson is going to ruin what would have probably been an EPIC final round

Winds and course generally plays easier early

Have y'all ever been to the Players?
They aren't joking when they talk about how small the 17th green looks from the tee box. Good lord, it looks like it's 3 feet deep, just a tiny sliver of green to work with.
Then from the side you can see just how steep the different levels are. I have a new appreciation for Tiger's "better than most" putt after seeing the green in person.

No chance.
It's playing too easy today. If Webb goes -3 today my boy Danny Lee would have to break the course record to just tie him.
Even par probably easily wins.

Webbs gonna choke. That gotdamn hatchet swing wont hold up under pressure. His only big win he backed into cause Furyk choked the US Open away.

What a lucky break on that bounce and bad break for Eldrick

I say Tiger plays it off that tractor parked randomly

Doesn’t look like that one is going to be playable

There will be a chute he can go through miraculously

Somebody in front of him has a legitimate chance to post 15 or 16. Knowing that number is in the house, webber shooting a couple over isn't crazy at all.
