That’s not Jack Nicklaus!

Nope, not Jack. But he wasn't The King.
And it isn't Arnold "The King" Palmer either.
The nickname for Eldrick is "Tiger". although I have heard him called Urkel too.

I’ll play. What’s your criteria for crowning Tiger the GOAT? Wins? Major wins?

Winning percentage.
We all know that if he had been able to stay healthy he would’ve smashed through 18 majors.

Stay healthy? How about call Uber when impaired?
As far as GOAT? All depends on personal criteria to a degree. Jack, Tiger, The King are all contenders. My personal favorite contender is Bobby Jones. Stopped playing competitively at age 29 as an amateur; winning majors during his short span. Just hitting his prime too.

I'm old enough to have seen Jack play through out his career. His record speaks for itself. As far as Tiger, he had the best physical talent I've seen. Mentally, he was head & shoulders above everyone else. I'll go with the most majors as being the criteria for the best ever.

He had spinal fusion way before that car wreck

If he would have had any competition at all, he may have 8. And less wins if he wouldn’t have cheated (moving boulders, illegal club/s, etc.. and won when busting someone else for misshapen grips).

Don’t forget Hogan who was severely injured (2 months in the hospital) in the bus accident and won 6 of his 9 Majors after that. He also has 1 more US Open than they give him credit for. All with legit competition.

Trolls. That is the only logical explanation.

What I can’t figure out is why his putting let’s him down so much.
In his prime, he made everything. He would get wild off the tee and still make the putts.
Now….he still hits bombs off the tee. His iron game is pretty sweet. But he can’t make anything on the greens. And for a guy with leg and foot problems, it would seem the putter would be his saving grace.
