Paige definitely looking extra fine in this video.

I’m a little nervous about part 4, I’ve really enjoyed how it’s played out like a “real” golf tournament where the better players and more strategic pairings have shown out. Apparently part 4 is supposed to be “crazy” and “high stakes”. I’m assuming that means Portnoy throws a ton of money at people like he tried at the end of the video and muck up the format.

Even though I’m not really a barstool guy you can’t hate on Portnoy for what he’s accomplished, but it’s crazy he’s such a degenerate he’ll screw up his own tournament just for a gambling endorphin high.

I think it adds a little fun twist into it, we'll see who is loyal and who is not to the team.

For some of these guys 100K is a lot of money for others not so much. You will find out whose greedy and wants to try for the money and may completely screw their team over.

Honestly I think it’s because she spent the whole day before in a cart with DOD King and it rubbed off on her

he will screw it up somehow. I dont love him, but i respect what he has built. I think if he screws it up and there is blowback he will learn from it and not make the same mistake next year. And there will 100% be a next year.

I have seen some stuff about how his persona is all 100% an act and he’s actually a really nice down to earth guy IRL.

I will say he is extremely positive and encouraging, even while losing his last match he was nothing but complimentary towards the guys beating them. I watched a video and he was being interviewed and said his mom gets mad at him for cursing online.

People who act like he does are usually horrible sports and poor losers, so maybe it’s all an act

This has to be back next year. By far the most entertaining YouTube golf content I’ve ever seen. I haven’t skipped a thing in all three episodes and can’t wait for the rest of them.

Been following the threads on here and just watched Episode 1 last night. Late last month, I got to play Payne's Valley for the first time so it's nice watching where they're hitting balls to in relation to where I was playing on those same holes. Many of their putts did the same as ours and just slid by the hole, rolling further away than expected.

Went on a Ryder style golf trip in May. Best golf area I’ve ever played.

And I went 5-0 in Ryder matches

I truly hope so (?) That just comes off as total douche.
Not sure why he choose that persona for his image.
I agree, he was totally polite towards all the other players.

Just weird.

Is there liquor allowed at this tournament?

Looks like they’re all drinking coffee

I think so, they were talking about getting tequila for their refreshers and the duke was smoking weed the entire time.

It's 100% an act. He's a good dude overall. He's entertaining and harmless. People that have an issue with him are either soft or autistic, bc it's clearly an act. His brand is a no tee douche and he plays it very well, while managing to largely be a good sport to his playing competitors. If he acted like boring arse George Bryan, he'd have no following because A) he's not as good as George and B) he doesn't have a PGA Tour winner brother with a personality to help prop him up. He's got to be edgy to maintain his spot in the space. Not everyone can act like Grant Horvat or George Bryan.

I can agree with this. George Bryan couldn't survive by himself. But there's a chance Wesley couldn't either. Wesley can be annoying to listen to and George's straight man levels it out. That's kind of their hook along with amazing play. Somehow vanilla Grant Horvat is so likeable he can get attention with his personality. Not trying to crap on him, I watch him a lot. But he really doesn't have a notable hook to keep you in. It's purely his good play, quality guests, etc..

So I can understand DOD having a "character" as a hook to bring in viewers. It just isn't something I want to watch.

i actually thought DOD and Sara Winter were kind of endearing. he was just being himself and she seemed to have fun with it, and they won.

i've also grown to like Riggs from this. just from social media clips ive not cared for him. but clearly from this he is a leader for that group and most everyone respects him.

i also think they might need to drop the videos quicker. the viewership has been dropping per video it seems.

it's not just that. There's too many of them and they're too long for viewership not to go down. Once you get over an hour, even avid youtube golf fans aren't going to sit down for 3 hours to watch all of these. If you look at Grant and the Bryon bros make the cut series, they're generally an hour to and hour and a half long. The first video always does way better than the second in those series
