We played a couple months back and one of the homeowners was there. She said that they were going through a “management transition”. It was pretty much completely unstaffed except for a volunteer guy working the pro shop.

That's a shame. I played it once way back in 2002. Was in good shape back then, and one of the hardest courses I had ever played. I thought AP courses had to maintain certain standards.

I played copper today, with the exception of a few bunkers it was in great shape

Played it today. “Great shape” is a stretch. The tee boxes were bad. Bunkers were garbage. Fairways were good and greens were good condition but entirely too slow.

But it was easily worth the $26 I paid to play it.

Copper Mill is open to the public? I was under the impression you had to be a member...hope I'm wrong because I would like to give it a try.

Good to know. Glad I asked. Not sure why I thought it was "members only".

We decided on the bluffs and was in much better shape than I expected. Only about 3 of the greens were a little rough. I’d play again

They tried members only when they first opened. Went semi-private/public pretty quick though... then they sold the range and it went to shite.

So, I played Beaver Creek yesterday. Course is in really great shape. Greens are on their way to coming back nicely, at least given the comments from people about how they were a couple weeks ago. Greens on holes 13 and 14 are going to take longer as they replaced big chunks of grass on edges of the greens.

The rest of the course is in great shape, if not a little wet. Drives were ending up next to their pitch marks in some of the fairways. But the fairways were like carpet.
