Standard verse Low Spin Driver's

I've been looking at getting a new driver recently. I've always used ping so I'm considering the Ping G410 Plus:
but I keep seeing the Ping G410 LST (Low Spin Tech):
The price difference in the two is pretty significant. Have any of yall used driver's with a similar "low spin" technology and is the price difference worth it?
NB4 thanks

The 410 is plenty low soon enough for nearly everyone. If high spin is your problem, there's other ways to combat it than go to the LST. You can get a shaft that's tipped or put some hot melt in the face.

OP, I have a G400 LST. I hit the 410 and it wasn't any better for my swing. Save some coin and get a 400LST.
I found that the LST knocked off 2-300 RPM of my swings. I am a sloppy driver and so saving 2-300 RPM meant a nice distance increase. Might not be worth it if you're hitting 2300 RPM drives with the standard.

Malvin, who posts here, can do it for you. He posted an instructional video once.

Think I'm just gone drop the money on a new driver and keep blaming my handicap on the equipment.

The LST isn't a better driver because it spins less. It's better for some people and worse for other. Plus there's not much tech difference between the 410 and the 400. The only good thing about the 410 is it has much more adjustability because of the movable weight and the new tip that allows you to go up to 3* flat. There is 0 difference in ball speed.

Tony Finau was playing the G400 max at one point because the numbers were so similar he wanted the extra forgiveness.
I doubt the LST takes off any significant amount of spin.

It does.
Tony Finau is a professional and can take off the spin himself so it doesn't affect him.

This is way off base. Tony is a low spin player. Hell, he played the spiniest Diamna shaft for quite some time. He delivers the club with a low spin loft which means he needs help spinning the ball, even with his ridiculous speed.

How is what you said any different than what I said?

Do you hit the ball low to begin with? If so, then LST might make your drives worse. All LST does is move the MOI toward the face. Alternatively, if you're a high ball hitter then I would go LST. If you are a normal-ish flight player, then get the 400 Plus and get a Low/Low profile shaft.

The ball dives off the tee for Tony if he's in an LST. It's not really an option for him as everything he does with a driver is to get more spin.

Get the 410 Plus and enjoy being in the fairways.

Most people need more launch and spin than they think, go with the one that is more forgiving unless you have someone carrying your staff bag around for you.

save your money baw and just put a little Chapstick on the face, spins goes way down and distance goes way up.
just don't let anyone see you do it.

Check the shaft specs on the two. Most of the time the low spin will come with an upgraded mid to high kick shaft. If its the same shaft for the higher price just fit the right shaft to the cheaper one.

The Ping Tour 75 shaft is a low spin shaft too.
