LIV is about to sign on a Vegas event at LVCC starting Super Bowl weekend in a few months. It’s a really fun course but the range is so small, I don’t see how they make that work, especially with a shotgun start.
But from what I hear they’re about to finalize it so you heard it here first.

Next year it isn't an elevated event. Maybe LIV is hoping the stars don't show up because of that. I doubt it, though. It seems like an event people would go to as long as the purse is decent.

Its field will still be good, and it wasn’t like it was the top fields before. Averaged around 16th every year not even including the majors.. It doesn’t and shouldn’t be elevated,.. It gets a great crowd and following without it and players will still choose to play
Use the elevated events somewhere that needs to draw the players to get the following

With an elevated the week before and after I would be surprised if the field doesn’t drop off substantially

I met some of the LIV officials today. Grandstands have been going up on #17 for a week or so. Course is in really good shape. Only thing I worry about is the cold that weekend.
