Looks like Sally’s worst winds and tidal push are hitting Kiva Dunes and Peninsula head on. The eye appears to be just east.

From reports, it appears the flooding from the surge and rain are worse than the wind.

I am scheduled to be staying and playing at Kiva next month....should be interesting to see how the recovery goes.

My buddy is at his condo just 2 miles past Kiva towards Fort Morgan ferry. He said they basically had a day of 90+ wind gusts and tons of rain. They lost power at midnight last night. He believed the forecast that the storm would go much further west and just got caught down there.

I’m waiting to hear from him today.

Our friend's parents live in Pensacola. She just sent us a video they took in their house of storm surge just coming in and out of the house like the tide

It's pretty bad.

We got 20-24 inches of rain in Bay County. Sunday morning it's going to be 64 degrees and sunny here, which having started playing in the late spring would be the best weather I've ever played in, but the courses are all still going to be underwater

Kiva - the course is still under water.

No electricity still.

It took Santa Maria a long while to recover after the 2016 floods. Imagine those courses will face the same journey.
