Anyone have the skinny on this course, FarmLinks?

I believe our plan is to shoot clays in the morning and play in the afternoon. Excited for it, looks pretty neat.

Great course.....played two weeks ago. Firmest greens I've played in a while.

Great course and resort. Stayed there the past two years on 4th of July weekends. Course is perfectly groomed and forgiving off of the tees. A couple of the par 3’s are awesome. Enjoy!

I’ve played it the past three years in a row and it’s always in perfect shape. There isn’t a bad lie on those fairways. Hole number 5 (if I’m not mistaken) is one of my favorite par 3s (play it from the tips for the full experience). Get a polo while there because the logo is awesome. Enjoy!

They had a fireworks show across from the 18th fairway. We had drinks on the back patio area and watched it.

Great practice area
Plays long
Memorable par 3’s
Excellent food
Long history. Owners were originally in the fertilizer business and it was used as a test facility. From the tips on # 5, you can see a phosphate quarry that was used during the civil war to make explosives and gunpowder.
Remote feel but not far from B’ham.
The staff is over the top friendly.
They have an axe throwing range!
Definitely give it a try. I’m going in Sept.

Really like the course, I play it a couple times a year. 18 is ridiculously long.

You get an appreciation for how far Kyle Berkshire hits it. He hit an iron into that green in 2. I hit 3 wood and still had an 8 iron left on my 3rd.
