That is one of my favorite 1st tee boxes in BR area

I thought that I knew that tee box.

I don't play enough to call anything my home course lately. If I have friends in town I usually take them to Eagle Point in Mont Belvieu.

But eventually I'll likely join Magnolia Creek in League City since I live right next to it and it includes membership to Southshore Harbor Golf Course.

That's awesome. I never stepped foot on the course until this past year but have really enjoyed my time so far. I joined up at probably the worst time in history.

I got early acceptance on August 20th...... Still functioning under Corona guidelines, first hurricane hit August 28th and closed the back 9 down for a couple of weeks, pool shut down like usual labor day weekend, tornadoes hit on April 12th, second hurricane hit October 10th closing the back 9 down, and we got the most snow Monroe has seen in 2 decades. It has been one hell of a year to say the least.

I looking to make up for that missed golf this year so bring on that warm weather!

Nice course. I usually hit it about once a month. Another little off the grid course is Chambers County a little further East on I-10 in Anahuac. It's usually in good shape .

Mag Creek is a super cool course. Yep, if you get a ClubCorp membership you can play it and South Shore plus you can come up to Kingwood and play here as well.

I did not know that. Definitely going to look into it. I know a couple of guys at my local watering hole that play at mag creek and are trying to get me out there.
