Any suggestions? Anyone played it recently?

I played it years ago. Perhaps the most beautiful course in the world.
I found it very hard to carry through the air, so you might try overclubbing if you keep coming up short.
The greens were slower that I thought they would be. I think moist air makes a difference on this course. Have lunch on the porch at the club overlooking #1, you won’t forget it.
18 is a real kick in the arse. Even my shortknocker arse drove it over 300 yds since you fall down a mountainside.
Mahalo baby!

Played it a few years back. Putting towards the ocean fast as hell and putting away from the ocean slow as hell! Fun track. Worth the money!

Enjoy the view from 17 tee box. I swear you feel like you are in heaven looking down at everyone else.

Then bash your drive down the hill!

Not sure what late October weather is like, but prepared to get briefly rained on. Likewise, don't leave the course. It's likely to pass through very quickly.

Beautiful course. Don’t get caught up in the moment and forget to take in the scenery. Hit it up the right side on 18 if you can hit a draw. It will roll 80-100yds. I had a slight tail wind and my tee shot was 433yds according to the gps. I hit the green in two but had over 50ft left and 3 putted for par. But I did shoot 74.

Plate it a few months ago. Play every approach shot just shy of the green or front d the green. Those things were firm. Also hopefully the wind isn’t too bad. Into the wind my 240 club became my 170 club
