Played all 4 courses and went with 16 guys. True links courses that all are unique and challenging. Great staff and beautiful views. Best destination golf I’ve ever experienced and you swear that you were in Scotland. Anyone who is into golf must go!

Post some pics! I’ve heard great things. Where did you fly in and what was the cost?

I agree. Went this year. Played 7 rounds in 4 days. Walked 60 miles. Truly an unbelievable experience. We are now planning on going every other year.

Regarding cost, for our trip minus flights, it was about $2000

Went the 7th thru the 12th. Green fees were $175 and caddy was $100 per round. Probably cost about $2000 total and worth every penny. Gotta walk... no electric carts available but walked approx 8 miles per day. After golf we played the par 3 course, did night golf and had a putting contest at The Punch Bowl which is a 100 yd by 100 yd putting green. We flew into Portland but could have flown into Eugene, Or but more expensive flights. Bandon Dunes is Disney World for golfers!

You can fly into Medford. It’s closer than Portland and less expensive than Eugene

No matter how great you think it’s going to be, it’s better.
All are championship courses in my opinion. Also, I had heard they were trying to open a 5th course there. Any updates on that?

The par 3 course is one of the nicest and most fun courses I’ve played as well.
We went in July and dealt with unbearable afternoon winds. How was the weather at this time of year?

This trip is a must for any die hard golfer. Unforgettable for sure.

Played Sand Valley (Bandon’s other place in Wisconsin) with same results, it was fantastic. Caddies said Bandon was way better. Can’t wait to get out there. This thread will make me start looking at calendar.

played there back in August and it was unbelievable. Every course is unique with Bandon Dunes being my favorite. Don't sleep on the Par 3 course !

The weather in early November historically is 42 degrees low and 55 degrees high. It blew 30 mph plus our third day and was a blast to play in. The 5th course, tentatively called The Sheep ranch, should open in approx 1 year and the rumor is that it may be the best course of them all. That’s hard to believe! One other thing that strikes you about Bandon is how pristine the beach and ocean are there. You see a very few cars on the beach and not one opulent house or nothing to spoil the amazing view. This is one trip that really sticks with you after you’ve left.
