Anyone ever played there? And is there a way to play it without staying at the daggum Beau Rivage?

You should search the topic. It has been discussed several times on the board.

Played it right after the senior tour last time. They still had the stands up, spent the night before at the Beau while on our way to Augusta. Played the Judge on the RTJ trail the following day.

It is worth the price. Great course and it’s always in great shape. We played a few years ago and were the only ones on the course.

It’s worth it, even staying at the Beau.

I wouldn’t, just stop before you embarrass yourself more. You can’t even spell or pronounce the courses you think are better correctly.

Embarrassing myself because I wasn’t as impressed with fallen oak as you kids were?

I’ve played all those courses more than once besides Jackson and Northwood.
What’s the problem?
All listed are IMO top notch. I enjoyed fallen oak as well.

Squire Creek is the only one out of that list that’s a better layout, Fallen Oak conditions blow it away IMO, Reunion in Madison is better than CC of Jackson to me. In the end it’s all personal preference and I think Fallen Oak is worth the coin, there are deals to be had, it’s 149 now through Dec 31, I have 2 rounds to burn for free so I’ll be going soon.

Not worth $200? Interesting. I get to play there multiple times a year and every time the service and experience is top notch. Never crowded and the course is pristine. I don't spend $200 to play but I'd say it would be worth it to spend one time to experience it.

I had Michael Jordan and his crew playing a few holes behind me one time. He was hitting on the driving range next to me before we started. Just him being there I think is an indication of how nice the course is.
