Got my pre-order delivered today! Could I have spent a ton of time at the range improving my bunker technique? Sure. Am I? Heck no.

Curious to see how it performs. Rick Shields

I went to Edwin Watts in BR and they already sold the two that they had. They should’ve ordered a lot more for the store. They missed out on a sale.

Practiced today and hit 9/10 to inside of 15 feet from the bunker. This thing is legitimately a cheat code.

I did hit ball first on one and sent it 40 yards past the green

lol.

Forget the special bounce. I need a sand wedge with a pillow insert to stop that dreaded click/zoom shot that sends the ball past the next tee box….

I have not seen the Bunkr wedge but I have the E grind they came out with last year or so and it is also great, from bunker, rough, or fairway.

Has anyone tried it outside of the bunker?

I have. Its sole is massive and its a 64* so its not the most practical. Maybe for thick rough around the green.

Alright, you convinced me. Just ordered one (and a Ping ChipR because I could use all the cheat codes available)

I have a Cleveland wedge that’s a similar concept to this. My clubs bunkers had gone through a really rough patch (since renovated) and you never knew what you were going to get. The great thing about these is you don’t have to take the traditional wide open bunker set up position. You just stand square and try to hit it fat. You’re not going to get much check on them, so you need to play for some run out, but you’re going to get out, Good option if you have bunker yips.

One of my baws has one and I tried it out on sunday

Its legit

It was weird playing it square like a normal chip shot but I tried about 20 balls in the practice bunker and after the first 10 to get a hang of it I got the last 10 within 10 feet. Doubt it would be useful for anything longer than 30-40 yards but as a specialty bunker club it is as advertised

It seems like most stores only got 2 wedges on their initial order. Not sure of the reasoning .
