I know PGA tournaments like last week are blah, but at least you have dudes playing for something. LIV to me feels like "going through the motions" golf.
A lot of LIV golfers got huge contracts with guaranteed money and then they have guaranteed purses for everyone. I can see why the competitive spirit or the daily grind isn’t quite there. LIV is the WCW of its time.

The problem with LIV is that when I watch it it doesn't seem to be based in reality.
It feels like I'm just watching rich golfers hit shots around a golf course. There are zero stakes with LIV, the whole thing is fake to me.
And I feel that's how the majority view it when they turn it on.
There is nothing on the line with LIV, its just a bunch of rich dudes slapping a golf ball around.

The fact of the matter is you only get angry and offended because the tour is being painted in a positive light with its recent success
The lashing out at me is just a symptom of that
Y’all spent the better part of 3 years talking about how Jay was going to blow it all up and now that it’s been proven 100% wrong it’s no fun to take the results

I have no problem with the PGA Tour being successful. I don’t think Jay should be in charge & he won’t be for much longer
Where you are wrong is stating that PGA Tour’s success = LIV Failure.
It doesn’t have to be a comparison or even a competition. Id like to see both tours be successful & for some type of agreement between the two where we get to see the best golfers in the world playing against each other more than 4x/year.

Every bit of this is false.
You're a good/reasonable poster on other boards (hell, you're a knowledgeable poster on the Golf Board about matters other than LIV), but you've been the biggest pimp for the Saudi exhibition tour on the Golf Board since before they cranked up the music, donned their short pants, did Tequila shots, and begged people to find them on the internet... somewhere on the internet. "Really, we're there. On the internet. Watch us. Please."
You're slowing down now because the public verdict is in and it's final: LIV is an embarrassing joke. But there were times when I actually thought you worked for LIV.
You told some whoppers... about the PGA tour (its leadership, players, tournament attendance, and TV ratings), LIV TV ratings, LIV exhibition event attendance figures, the multitude of "stars" in the Saudi league, etc.
My favorite wasn't your biggest whopper, but I used to just laugh when you would implore us to accept that Anthony Kim was going to "return" to being a star. "Keep on eye on Kim, his game is really coming around." Absurd. And you're a smart poster. You know this is absurd.
Pride posts a lot about LIV, but I actually enjoy his posts as they counter the craziness and propaganda that you throw out.
As I said, beyond the LIV topic, I enjoy your posts on TD.

I’d like to see it happen, but unfortunately he is probably running out of time with only 6 tournaments left to go.

You claimed that “they can’t even get into Majors” in the Mexico thread, where Niemann in fact qualified for the US Open with his win.
I can tell this thread is no longer about the PGA Tour’s TV ratings though, which is what Pride wanted
